For products where washing cannot be used, e.g. frozen fruit and vegetables, fogging with a dry mist of hypochlorous acid solution is being used more and more frequently. Thanks to this method, dangerous pathogenic bacteria, such as E. coli, L. monocytogenes or dangerous viruses, such as norovirus, viruses causing hepatitis A and B type, are eliminated from the surface of these raw materials.
